TV Updates

If you tune in to Comcast 900 tonight and can't find the game, check channel 190 or 191. Apparently Comcast 900 will be showing GVSU football, but our game should be airing on one of the local access channels.

Also--and this is pretty cool--Comcast and the CCHA reached an agreement with the NHL Network to show 18 CCHA games. What this means is that if you're in Canada, you'll get the Michigan game live tonight. The US will have Hockey Night in Canada, but the Michigan game will air tomorrow at noon Eastern (currently my guide only shows it as airing on the NHLN HD, but we'll see if the standard def people get it as well). I guess that's how it's going to be for all the Comcast 900 games this year. Can't hurt our recruiting north of the border!

Thanks for that tidbit, Tim. I would've been pretty upset because I set the DVR last week when the game was then scheduled on 900.

No problem. Hopefully your DVR picked it up. My Comcast 190 (thank you Slingbox!) didn't start showing the game until like halfway through the second period.

Really good hockey game huh?

Does anyone know if the comcast feeds are available on DirecTV? hard to get college hockey down here, but the small dish makes it a bit easier, but it looks like Comcast has most of the tv coverage this year.

I have Dish Network, but I don't think you'd be able to get the Comcast feeds on DTV. Comcast 900/190 are basically local access stations.

If you get the NHL Network, though, you should be able to see the Saturday night games on Sunday morning....it's not perfect, but it's better than a kick in the face! I'd highly recommend watching the game tomorrow at noon if you do have the NHLN. It was really entertaining.
