Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet

From The Ann Arbor News:
The university [of Wisconsin - ed] has tendered a formal contract to the University of Michigan for an outdoor hockey game to be played at the 80,321-seat stadium Feb. 6, and the Wolverines are expected to accept the offer, Michigan associate head coach Mel Pearson said Thursday afternoon.

Awwwww yeah. I think it's pretty safe to say that I'll be there.

That's the day before the Super Bowl, if you were wondering.

I think we should play Wisconsin and Minnesota home-and-home every year. I know this is a gimmick game but still... Bring on Bucky.

Awesome. More excited for this than I was for going to the Winter Classic this year.

So, that means they will play at Yost next November for the CHS, then go to Wiscy for the outdoor game?

Okay, sounds good... since they have a limited amount of Yost OOC games anyway... plus another trip to BU next year... sounds like a pretty robust schedule is shaping up.

Not to mention the GLI... remind me, who is the fourth team next year... RPI?

Yes, RPI is the 4th team for the GLI next year.

I still haven't been to Camp Randall for a football game. It'll be weird if I see a hockey game there before football. That said, I'm looking forward to attending this gimmick hockey game.

wT-

How about this? The only sporting event I've ever been to Spartan Stadium for was the Cold War game in 2001. And the same might end up being true for me with Camp Randall.

Ditto for me and Spartan Stadium. I've been to two football games at Camp Randall though.

And actually, I've always had a much better experience with the Badger fans (even before I moved here) than most people seem to have had. I've always had a riot.

11 months away, and already I can't wait for this one...
