The Jerseys Aren't Changing

I've been told by someone who would know that the jerseys being sold at MGoBlueShop are not the jerseys that the team will be wearing in this upcoming season and that the jerseys aren't changing. So as nice as the ones being sold online look, it looks like the white throwbacks are coming back for another season, and that makes me happy.

Here's a camp notebook from the Habs website about Mac Bennett.

Mike Spath addressed NHL rumors surrounding Kevin Lynch. No comment since it's a premium story and they didn't give anything away in the teaser.

Yess great news! I'm glad we're keeping the jerseys the same, they're really solid, and I'm glad we won't have 3 jerseys that just say "Michigan" across diagonally. Thanks for the update

I had my suspicions that it wasn't real. The way the colors so readily moved between the three, it looked like a photo shop job more than anything else. I am really glad the classic whites will be back next year.

Thank God. I loved the throwback whites. The road blues are ok. Odd that the official seller would have such items listed. Football I can understand since it's the largest revenue sport and I've seen plenty of jerseys out there which are fluff, but hockey?

Glad to see the retro whites live on. But is Adidas really going to sell a sweater that doesn't appear on the ice? Consider that strike 1 for adidas hockey in my book.

Yeah, does this mean I'm still going to be able to find a white throwback this year at the MDen or equivalent?

Dave - Yes they're all 3 kinds are still there for $80 bucks. Just stopped in the one on Main St on 7/13 to look around
